Join TMN

The Moms’ Network of Walla Walla is a nonprofit organization that advocates for a strong, family-friendly community. When moms, dads and grandparents join our network, we work together to further enhance our community. TMN plans events for our members focusing on family and personal well-being (book clubs, parenting seminars, play dates, girl’s night outings, weekly walks, etc). In addition, TMN organizes efforts to give back to our community through the Diaper Drive benefitting Helpline and Resource Center that provides print material about helpful community agencies. We would love for you to join our efforts. Every new member creates opportunities for us to provide greater services for families in the Walla Walla Valley.

Goals

  1. Create a web site as a communication outlet so Moms can easily review and receive information.
  2. Provide a way to exchange information with other Moms (check out our Facebook page).
  3. Encourage Moms to network with one another by providing information about various groups.
  4. Learn about fun and interesting topics by holding informational meetings at a minimum of four times per year. These will be free or at a minimal cost to The Moms’ Network members. Some meetings will be open to guests and the public as a way to increase membership.

Renewal

The Moms’ Network of Walla Walla has revised our renewal procedure. ALL renewals will be due in June to help streamline our efforts. We will have a booth available at many Walla Walla Farmers Markets and other community events. Members can send renewals via mail to 1355 Shade Tree Lane, Walla Walla, WA 99362. Your new card will be mailed to you.  Please inquire with Beth for more information (beth@themomsnetworkww.com).

Goals

2. Provide a way to exchange information with other Moms by utilizing a memo board on the site.
3. Encourage Moms to network with one another by providing information about various groups.
4. Learn about fun and interesting topics by holding informational meetings at a minimum of four times per year. These will be free or at a minimal cost to The Moms’ Network members. Some meetings will be open to guests and the public as a way to increase membership.
Profits
In October 2008, after 16 months of starting this adventure, 50% of the profits will be donated to a charity or event determined by the members of The Moms’ Network. TMN will donate a percentage of each year’s profits to a Walla Walla charity every October.
